Looking to Join JTAT?
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of JTAT. Member benefits include workshops and networking opportunities with Japanese Teachers across Texas and its neighboring states.
Is There a JTAT-Only Membership Option?
If you seek JTAT membership-only, please email the current treasurer to receive your membership application. Then, make a $20 check payable to JTAT to cover the membership fee.
The treasurer will need to verify receipt of this payment. If you have any questions, please contact the current JTAT treasurer.
How Do I Obtain a Dual AATJ/JTAT Membership?
The American Association for the Teachers of Japanese (AATJ) connects to many affiliate Japanese Teacher Associations in the country.
Click here for the membership renewal form to be directed to the AATJ membership site. Follow the instructions to obtain membership on the AATJ site. Part of the membership proceeds from AATJ will be credited to JTAT.
NOTE: Once you complete the JTAT membership application, **please forward your receipt to the current treasurer to verify your application.** There is usually a delay in notification from AATJ to JTAT, so we would appreciate it if you could inform the treasurer upon completing your JTAT application for membership.
Membership Renewal
Please note that memberships run on a calendar year, and renewal will be requested at the beginning of each new year.
